High Vibe Project day 3&4
The weatherman predicted a day of rain on Monday and wouldn’t you know it, he was right. It poured through the night and I could hear it continuing as I woke up. After putting of the exercise tasks to the late afternoon on day 1 and right before bed on day 2, I decided this was something I’d rather START my day with.
Today’s exercise: 30 crunches.
Out of bed and crunching. There’s a certainly a mental strength that goes along with doing something you said you’d do. Those endorphins are real, and they have real effects, you know. It wasn’t even 8am and I’d already accomplished something. That feeling sticks with me through the day.
Today’s Affirmation: I am always in the right place at the right time.
Autumn has brought along it’s usual showers, the whole day a dense cloud hung above outside. Neither of us had to leave the house, so we both stayed tucked up inside at Thom’s Nana’s, spending some quality time with his Grandparents, and I did a bit of work from my laptop, really soaking up the bliss of having a completely portable business.
Self-Love action: Ditch the inner critic.
This is a big one for me, making a conscious effort to block out that negative self-talk and it can be daunting at first. But it feels liberating to not only catch myself out, but to actively stop and change the though direction!
Exercise: 25 Jumping Jacks
Completed before getting in the shower to start the day – heart pumping, blood flowing, always a good way to start the day.
Today’s Affirmation: Love is all there is and it emanates from my being.
Things didn’t go as planned or hoped today, and it was disappointing for Thom and I both. But at the end of the day, we got through the rough bits together, and more than anything, I was so grateful that I had created the freedom for myself that allowed me to be there as it happened.
Self-Love: I treated myself to some health food shopping
Since we were still in the city, which is home a bulk foods store that we don’t have in my town. Goji berries, Spirulina are things that I’d not been able to find in Kaitaia. My morning smoothies are about to get even more awesome.
Thom’s Poppa gave us a large supply of green-goodness, in the form of 2 bags of SilverBeet – sometimes known as Swiss Chard, and he gave us a couple of rhubbard plants.
So far the High Vibe Project has been a welcome addition to my life and lifestyle. That extra bit of effortless focus on positivity and self-love really does make all the difference. If I’m up to my eyeballs with love & gratitude now, I can’t wait to see/feel what this by the end of the year.
